NCT 127 Bring 'Kick It' and 'Piñata' to America's Got Talent Stage Ahead of New Album BLINGY
NCT 127 opened the America's Got Talent live results show on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, with a two-song medley of 'Kick It' and 'Piñata' at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Members Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun and Haechan took the stage for the performance, which aired on NBC at 8/7c. Billboard confirmed the setlist, and America's Got Talent's official YouTube channel published the performance under the title 'NCT 127 Performs Kick It And Piñata on America's Got Talent | AGT 2026.'
'Kick It' dates back to 2020. 'Piñata' is the newer of the two — it arrived earlier in August 2026 as the first single from BLINGY, NCT 127's seventh studio album. The nine-track record is due out Monday, Aug. 24, released via SM Entertainment and Virgin Music Group.
BLINGY carries particular weight for the group. It is their first full-length album in two years and their first as a five-member lineup, following the military enlistment of Doyoung and Jungwoo. South Korea requires all able-bodied men to serve roughly 18 to 21 months in the military, and several K-pop acts navigate release schedules around members' service windows. NCT 127 was formed a decade ago in Seoul.
The day after the album drops, the group will hold the 'NCT 127 7th Album [BLINGY] Comeback Live Party' on Aug. 25, where they plan to perform every song on the record.
The AGT results show had its own stakes. Rapper Luke Taleno, animal act Olivia Befus and laser dancers Royal Lasers advanced to the semifinals. Magic act Hundred Fingers, who received a Golden Buzzer from judge Howie Mandel during their Tuesday quarterfinal, moved straight through to the season finale — making them the first contestant in AGT history to earn two Golden Buzzers in a single season.
Season 21 of America's Got Talent continues Tuesday, Aug. 25 on NBC, streaming the following day on Peacock.
