Role Model's third studio album, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass, has debuted in the top 10 across six Billboard charts dated Aug. 22, marking the artist's strongest sales week to date. The album sold 24,000 copies in the United States in the week ending Aug. 13, according to Luminate data reported by Billboard.

Released on Aug. 7 via Interscope Records, Chuck Timely & The Hourglass landed at No. 2 on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart — the chart that ranks the week's best-selling albums based only on pure album sales, combining physical copies and digital downloads. The record also entered the Billboard 200, the flagship chart that folds in streaming equivalent album units (the measure that converts plays into album sales), inside the top 10.

Beyond those two headline placements, the album reached No. 2 on the Billboard Vinyl Albums chart, No. 3 on both the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts, and No. 9 on the Indie Store Album Sales chart, which tracks purchases through independent record shops.

The first-week sales were helped by a wide retail strategy. The album was made available across 12 physical variants — CD, vinyl and cassette, including signed editions — alongside two digital download versions. The CD edition ships on Aug. 24, according to Role Model's official online store.

Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, also scored his first career entry on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this summer. The single "High Hopes 3000," one of eight tracks on the album alongside "Chuck's Mantra," "Song Is All You Get," "Love I You," "Chasing Midnight," "Good Thing," "Joy" and "Service Receipt," debuted at No. 94 on the Hot 100 in June, as reported by Billboard.

For context on the Top Album Sales chart this week, the No. 1 slot belongs to Stray Kids' THIS & THAT, which opened with the group's best sales week yet of 357,000 copies — the act's ninth chart-topper on the tally. Sleep Token's instrumental editions of Even In Arcadia debuted at No. 8, driven largely by vinyl. Two reentries rounded out the top 10: Ethel Cain's Preacher's Daughter at No. 9 following its first-ever CD release, and Steve Lacy's Oh yeah? at No. 10 after its CD and vinyl hit stores.

What makes Role Model's debut stand out is how it sits in that company. A 24,000-copy first week is modest next to the K-pop sales machine at No. 1, but it represents a personal best for an artist whose catalogue is still building — and whose physical-variant strategy, with a dozen editions spanning three formats, clearly found its audience. The No. 2 placement on the Vinyl Albums chart, in particular, signals where those buyers are spending.
