Role Model's third studio album, Chuck Timely & the Hourglass, is set for release on Friday, August 7, 2026, under the Polydor label, with pre-orders already live across streaming platforms and the artist's official store.

The 12-track project, whose title introduces an alter ego named Chuck Timely, explores themes of love, heartbreak, self-discovery, and what the artist described as "feeling stagnant" — a preoccupation with time that surfaced throughout the writing process. Speaking to NYLON, Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, described Chuck Timely as a vessel for navigating those ideas. In a separate interview with People, he expanded on the album's obsession with time as a creative and personal pressure point. According to Billboard, making the album pushed Pillsbury to start therapy for the first time.

The album includes previously released singles "Joy" and "High Hopes 3000," the latter serving as the lead single. "High Hopes 3000" marked a career milestone when it debuted at No. 94 on the Billboard Hot 100, the chart that tracks the most-consumed songs in the US each week — the first Hot 100 entry of Pillsbury's career, Billboard reported in June. His song "Sally, When the Wine Runs Out" also entered Billboard's Alternative Adult Airplay chart in 2025.

One track drawing particular attention is "Love I You," which features a spoken-word bridge from Dakota Johnson, the actor and Role Model's girlfriend. The contribution was confirmed in Billboard's August 4 report ahead of the release.

Beyond the album itself, Pillsbury announced a fall 2026 North American tour in support of the record, with dates revealed on his Instagram account in June. Pre-orders are currently available through his official merchandise store, which offers a "Pistachio Vinyl (RM Exclusive)" edition and limits purchases to four copies per customer. The album is also listed for pre-order through Interscope's official store and Universal Music Group's UDiscoverMusic shop, with Spotify confirming a 12-song tracklist.

The standard CD edition's full tracklist had not yet been detailed on the pre-order listings, though Pillsbury revealed the album's tracklist on his Instagram account on June 5. What listeners will find across those 12 songs, Pillsbury has made clear, is a record that cost him something to make — and prompted him to seek help he had never sought before.

Chuck Timely & the Hourglass is available August 7 on Polydor.
