Shakira and Burna Boy's 'Dai Dai' Holds No. 1 for a Sixth Week on the Billboard Global 200

Shakira and Burna Boy's "Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)" led the Billboard Global 200 for a sixth week on the chart dated 29 August 2026, while holding the top spot on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for a ninth week. The track drew 40.3 million streams and sold 5,000 copies worldwide during the tracking week of 14–20 August, according to Luminate data reported by Billboard.
The Billboard Global 200 ranks the most-consumed songs across the world, combining streams and digital sales. The Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart does the same but strips out American listeners, offering a picture of international demand on its own terms. Both charts are powered by Luminate, the data firm that supplies Billboard's weekly rankings.
"Dai Dai" first reached No. 1 on the Global 200 in mid-July 2026. At its peak, the song moved 57.9 million streams and 15,000 copies sold worldwide in a single tracking week. Both figures have eased since: the latest weekly totals show streams down 9% week over week and sales down 18%, per Billboard.
Behind the leaders, the Global 200's top five tells its own story. Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" rose one spot to No. 2, tying its peak. Tame Impala's "Loser" climbed 5–3 to a new chart best, fuelled by its placement in the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day — a sync, in industry terms, meaning the song was licensed for use in the film's soundtrack or marketing. Ariana Grande's "Hate That I Made You Love Me" slipped to No. 4 after three non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 starting in June. Justin Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat," featuring Nicki Minaj, rose to No. 5 after topping the chart for two weeks in May.
On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, Tame Impala's "Loser" matched its Global 200 rise, moving 6–3. BTS' "Swim" held at No. 5 after eight weeks at No. 1 dating back to April 2026.
Further down the Excl. U.S. ranking, "Movin' to the Sun" by HUGEL, Imael Angel and Ultra Naté entered the top 10 for the first time, climbing from No. 11 to No. 9. The track drew 16 million streams outside the U.S., according to Billboard. For Ultra Naté, whose Billboard chart history dates to 1991 — including seven No. 1s among 20 top-10 entries on the Dance Club Songs chart — the placement marks a return to the upper reaches of a major Billboard ranking after more than three decades of chart presence. The song has also peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard WARM Global Dance Radio chart and sat at No. 2 on the Hits of the World Germany Songs chart, behind "Dai Dai" at No. 1.
For "Dai Dai," the six-week Global 200 reign reflects sustained global streaming at a time when the FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted across the United States, Mexico and Canada, is still months from kick-off. The song's worldwide reach — from Germany's national songs chart to the top of Billboard's combined global ranking — gives the tournament's official anthem a commercial footprint well ahead of the event itself.
