Shakira and Burna Boy's 'Dai Dai' Holds No. 1 for a Fourth Week on the Billboard Global 200

Shakira and Burna Boy's "Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)" has topped the Billboard Global 200 for a fourth consecutive week, leading the chart dated August 8, 2026. The track also sits at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for a sixth week, Billboard reported on August 3, citing data from Luminate covering July 24–30.
The Billboard Global 200 and its companion Global Excl. U.S. chart, both launched in September 2020, rank songs by streaming and download activity across more than 200 territories, compiled by the data firm Luminate. "Dai Dai" logged 56.8 million streams — down 2% week over week — and 9,000 downloads sold, down 44%, worldwide during the July 24–30 tracking period. The week before, it had posted 57.9 million streams and 15,000 downloads, reflecting gains of 34% and 186% respectively.
What sets the song apart is its place in a narrow field. Billboard noted that "Dai Dai" is the first official World Cup anthem to lead both global charts, and the highest-charting World Cup anthem to have reached the Billboard Hot 100, the United States' flagship singles chart, where it entered the top 40 on the chart dated August 1. The track also vaulted to No. 1 on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart in July, giving it parallel dominance across radio and streaming.
Below the top spot, the Global 200's top 10 saw fresh movement. Morgan Wallen's "Been by Now" debuted at No. 4, marking his sixth top-10 entry and his highest chart position in a lead role. It opened with 29.1 million streams and 14,000 downloads sold worldwide. KATSEYE's "Animal" entered at No. 10 — the group's first Global 200 top 10 — with 29.8 million streams and 3,000 sold in its first week.
Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" climbed from No. 3 to No. 2, a new peak on the chart. Ariana Grande's "Hate That I Made You Love Me" slipped from No. 2 to No. 3 after spending two weeks at No. 1 since its June debut. Justin Bieber's "Beauty and a Beat," featuring Nicki Minaj, rose from No. 6 to No. 5, a song that previously held No. 1 for two weeks in May.
For "Dai Dai," the fourth week at the summit comes with slowing but still commanding consumption numbers. The 2% dip in streams is modest by chart standards, though the 44% drop in downloads suggests the song's sales tail is thinning even as its streaming base holds. The full Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts dated August 8 are set to update on Billboard.com on August 4.
