Great Britain have secured Tosan Evbuomwan and Amari Williams for their EuroBasket qualifying double-header — two 24-year-olds set to make their senior international debuts. The fixtures take them to Switzerland on Thursday and then home to Newcastle on Sunday, a city that carries extra meaning for one of the newcomers.
Evbuomwan was born in Newcastle. He now plays for Barcelona, one of Europe's most storied clubs, after a college career in the United States that put him on the radar of NBA scouts.
