Ravyn Lenae Postpones 'Blue Island' Tour Weeks After Album Release
Ravyn Lenae has postponed her upcoming 'Blue Island' tour, which was set to kick off next month, the singer announced on Wednesday, Aug. 26, in a statement shared to her Instagram story.
Lenae called it a "difficult decision" made after speaking with her team, but did not give a specific reason for the postponement. She promised fans she plans to bring the 'Blue Island' show to them in the new year, though no rescheduled dates have been announced. Billboard
The tour was originally set to begin Sept. 15 in Sacramento, California, before travelling through Oakland, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Chicago, Washington D.C., Toronto, Raleigh, Memphis, Dallas, Austin and Phoenix. A Los Angeles date at the Greek Theatre was booked for Oct. 21. Lexa Gates and Nourished By Time were among the artists announced as supporting acts on select dates.
Fans who already purchased tickets will receive refunds at the point of purchase, Lenae confirmed.
The postponement comes less than three weeks after Lenae released Blue Island, her third studio album, on Aug. 7 via Atlantic Records. The record arrived as a follow-up to her 2024 sophomore album Bird's Eye, which featured her first Billboard Hot 100 entry, 'Love Me Not' — the flagship singles chart that tracks the most consumed songs across streaming, radio and sales in the United States.
Tickets for the tour had gone on pre-sale on June 24, with general on-sale following on June 26.
For ticket-holders, the immediate question is whether rescheduled dates will hold the same routing and venues — or whether the new-year plan means a reshaped itinerary. Lenae has not yet indicated either way. What is clear is that the 'Blue Island' album, released to streaming and retail earlier this month, will now have to carry the promotional weight on its own through the autumn, without the live dates behind it that labels typically rely on to sustain momentum in the weeks after release.
No new tour dates have been announced.
