Kehlani Cancels Camden and Washington, D.C. Shows After Hospitalisation

Kehlani has cancelled the next two stops on her Kehlani World Tour — Camden, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C. — after a hospital stay for an illness that left her unable to swallow.

The singer announced the cancellations on social media on Wednesday, August 26, telling fans she had not been cleared to sing for the two affected shows. "I am so sorry Camden & DC," she wrote, according to Billboard.

No rescheduled dates for those cities have been announced. The tour is currently set to resume on August 29 at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond, Virginia, a venue located at 350 Tredegar Street with doors listed at 5:00 PM and a 6:30 PM showtime. From Richmond, the Kehlani World Tour is scheduled to run through September and wrap up in early October with a show in San Francisco.

Kehlani's self-titled album, released earlier this year, reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart and debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200 — the flagship US album ranking that combines physical sales, digital sales, and streaming activity into a single weekly tally. The tour takes its name from that record.

For fans holding tickets to the Camden or D.C. dates, the cancellations mean checking directly with the original point of purchase for refund or exchange information. Kehlani did not specify in her post when, or whether, those shows might be rescheduled.

The Richmond date on August 29 is, for now, still on — designated "Rain or Shine" on venue and ticketing listings.
