Rock al Parque Unveils Its Biggest Lineup Ever for 30th Anniversary Edition
Rock al Parque, one of Latin America's largest free open-air festivals, has announced the full lineup for its 30th anniversary edition — and it is the largest bill in the festival's history, with more than 60 bands spread across four stages in Bogotá's Parque Simón Bolívar from 10 to 12 October 2026.
The Instituto Distrital de las Artes (Idartes), the festival's organising body, confirmed the lineup on Wednesday, 27 August, following an earlier announcement of 26 local Colombian artists just over a week before. According to the official festival announcement, Mon Laferte, Serú Girán and Apocalyptica headline the milestone edition (Rock al Parque; Idartes).
Founded in 1995, Rock al Parque has grown from a local Bogotá event into a pan-continental fixture. The 2026 edition draws acts from Latin America, Europe, the United States and Japan (El Tiempo; Billboard).
The international bill is deep. Chile sends Los Bunkers and Los Tetas, alongside Mon Laferte, who is identified with both Chile and Mexico. Argentina brings Serú Girán, Rata Blanca, Bandalos Chinos and Ratones Paranoicos. Mexico contributes Porter, División Minúscula and Las Fokin Biches. England's Editors, Finland's Apocalyptica and Stratovarius, and Japan's Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra broaden the geographic reach. Sweden contributes Grave and Hellbutcher; Switzerland brings Burning Witches and Triptykon — a project carrying members associated with Hellhammer and Celtic Frost.
The United States is represented by Ministry, Between the Buried and Me, Algiers and Darkest Hour. Spain's contingent includes Green Valley, Iseo & Dodosound, Agua Bendita and Alcalá Norte (Radioacktiva). Venezuela's Desorden Público, Uruguay's Trotsky Vengarán and Colombia's own Esteman, I.R.A. and Nadie round out a bill that spans alternative rock, metal, punk, ska, reggae and related genres across the festival's four stages.
The official announcement describes the 30th-anniversary edition as registering significant female participation in its lineup, with artists such as Mon Laferte and Burning Witches among the featured names (Rock al Parque).
Idartes confirmed in August that this edition has the most artists of any in the festival's history (Radioacktiva). The festival is also introducing an "escenario de experiencias" — an experiences stage — alongside its four music stages, and designer Tavo Garavato created the official anniversary image around the copetón bird, a species native to the festival's territory (Idartes).
For a festival that has never charged admission, the scale of the 30th-anniversary bill underscores what three decades of public investment in Bogotá's cultural life looks like on a stage. More than 60 bands, four stages, three days, and no ticket price at the gate.
