Jelly Roll Calls Trump "Full of Sh--" in Final Kimmel Guest-Hosting Week
Jelly Roll used his last nights as guest host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to keep poking at President Donald Trump — and the barbs got sharper, not softer, as the week wore on.
The country-rap artist, filling in for Jimmy Kimmel during an August break, opened his Wednesday monologue by defending jokes he had made two nights earlier about the president's weight. "I thought fat-on-fat crime was OK!" he told the studio audience, a reference to his own well-documented weight-loss journey. Two nights before, he had quipped that his 300-pound weight loss meant he had "lost an entire Donald Trump," and addressed the president directly: "Mr. President, from one fat pig to another, take it from me that physical fitness is very important." On Wednesday, Jelly Roll escalated. "We can debate whether this president is mentally fit," he said, "but I think we can all agree he is certainly not physically fit." He then introduced a parody commercial for a fake weight-loss drug called "Donjaro" — a play on the GLP-1 medication Ozempic — spliced with clips of Trump and a narrator asking, "Does your butt bulge in ways that defy the laws of physics?" After the bit, he said sarcastically: "Wouldn't it be nice to see Trump lose something besides the war, his popularity and most of his f--king marbles?"
He also tied Trump's trade war with Canada to a reported rise in US toilet paper prices, which the Guardian has linked to tariffs on Canadian paper products. Jelly Roll said it was poetic that wiping had become so expensive "just because the president's full of sh--," a line that drew laughter and applause from the audience.
Fox News host Jesse Watters had suggested Jelly Roll used Ozempic and suffered "Trump Derangement Syndrome." The singer fired back in his monologue: "Ozempic is the only drug I haven't tried." Then, after a beat: "I lost weight the old fashioned way: cocaine." Billboard

The Kimmel stint was not Jelly Roll's first signal that he intended to speak openly about politics. At the 2026 Grammy Awards, he told reporters he planned to speak up, saying "everybody's going to hear exactly what I have to say in the most loud and clear way I've ever spoken in my life." Whether the late-night audience was the one he had in mind at the Grammys, the platform gave him exactly that: a microphone, a crowd, and no filter.
