Luke Bryan Reveals New Song Details From Album 'Signs,' Out Sept. 18

'Killer' is written from the perspective of a bullet inside a gun — a narrative conceit that sits well outside the typical country-radio playbook. The song was written by Davis Corley, Mark Addison Chandler and Nate Kenyon, rather than by Bryan himself. 'Woods,' the other newly revealed track, describes the relationship between the woods and a kid growing up in the country. Both song titles were shared exclusively by Billboard on Aug. 28. Billboard

The rollout has been gradual. Bryan began revealing the Signs track listing on Aug. 18 through a dedicated album website, letting fans piece together the project song by song over the final stretch before release. Prior to that, he had already shared several tracks with listeners: 'Made It A Memory' was released on June 26, and 'Country and She Knows' serves as the album's first single.
