Luke Bryan to Play Concert Inside Roku City on Sept. 19

Luke Bryan is playing a concert inside a screensaver this Saturday.

The country star will headline “Live From Roku City: Luke Bryan” on Sept. 19, available on the Roku platform from 12 a.m. PT, as reported by Variety. No ticket needed. You just need a Roku device.

Roku City is the animated, neon-hued skyline that plays when Roku TVs and other devices sit idle. Roku’s “Live From Roku City” initiative turns that cityscape into a stage for music and other programmes.

Bryan’s set leans on the familiar. It includes “Play It Again” and his recent single “Country and She Knows It”. He will also cover “Where Everybody Knows Your Name,” the theme from the sitcom Cheers.

The timing is tied to new music. His ninth studio album, Signs, is scheduled for release one day before the concert, on Sept. 18.

Roku has used the format this way before. The company worked with Demi Lovato for a “Live From Roku City” performance in October 2025 around her album It’s Not That Deep. On Jan. 1, Roku City also streamed a Wicked: For Good special built around a dance performance of “Wonderful,” choreographed by Christopher Scott, to promote the film’s availability for digital rental and purchase.

For fans, this means a front row from the sofa. Open Roku City on Saturday and the show should be there to stream.
