The Linda Lindas Return With 'Gotta Get Out' and a Ghostly New Video for 'Everybody Told Me'
The Linda Lindas released their third studio album, Gotta Get Out, on Friday 28 August 2026, arriving via Reprise/Warner Records alongside a music video for the track "Everybody Told Me" (Broadway World).
The "Everybody Told Me" video trades the band's usual punk-energy simplicity for a Victorian-themed, ghostly aesthetic — a visual style the group had not used before (Rolling Stone). The clip was directed by Amalia (Broadway World). The band had teased the premiere on their official Facebook page, telling followers it would arrive Thursday at 9pm PT (Facebook).
Drummer Mila De La Garza pointed to two details that set the single apart from the band's earlier work: a call-and-response passage in the bridge, and the group's first-ever fade-out ending (Rolling Stone). "Everybody Told Me" sits at track 10 on the 12-song album, followed by "Okay" and "See You Next Time" (New Noise Magazine; Stereogum).
Gotta Get Out is the band's third album and their first since the run that began with their debut, Growing Up, released four years earlier (Rolling Stone). The album also includes "Closer," a track featuring Hayley Williams, frontwoman of Paramore (Stereogum).
The Linda Lindas had announced the album in July 2026, with their official Facebook page confirming the title and release window (Facebook).
