The Real Housewives of New York City returns for its 16th season on Tuesday, September 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo — and a familiar face is back in the mix.

Carole Radziwill, who first appeared on the series in season five, returns as a full-time Housewife this season. She had initially been announced as a "friend of" — the show's term for a cast member who appears regularly but does not hold a primary apple — before being elevated to the main cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Radziwill joins a lineup that Bravo announced in March 2026 and detailed further in July. The season 16 cast includes Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, Carole Radziwill, Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye, per Bravo's official cast announcement. De Silva, Lichy, and Taank all appeared in season 14, which relaunched the franchise in 2023 with an entirely new group after the previous cast's final season.

For viewers without cable, the premiere and weekly episodes are available to stream live through DirecTV, Fubo, Sling, and Hulu + Live TV, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. New episodes also land on Peacock — Bravo's streaming home — the day after they air. Bravo additionally lists an official companion program, The Real Housewives of New York City After Show, tied to the franchise on its website.

Bravo dropped the season 16 trailer in July alongside the premiere date announcement, giving fans a first look at the dynamics heading into the new episodes, per Deadline.

For longtime followers of the franchise, Radziwill's return is the headline. She spent six seasons on the original run of RHONY before departing in 2018. Her move from "friend of" back to full-time Housewife is a reversal mid-cycle — the kind of cast shuffle that usually only surfaces after filming has begun. What prompted the change has not been publicly explained by Bravo or Radziwill.

The rest of the cast blends returning season 14 names with fresh additions. Glassman, Hammond, and Toye are new to the series. Bravo published a friendship guide in early September mapping out the cast members' connections to one another ahead of the premiere, per Bravo's Daily Dish.

RHONY season 16 airs weekly. Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo, next day on Peacock.
