Angel Studios says its paid Guild has passed 3 million members

Angel Studios has passed 3 million paying members in its Angel Guild, the studio reported in September 2026, as covered by Deadline.
That is double the total a year earlier. It is a rapid climb for a fan-funded film and television outfit.
Co-founder and chief executive Neal Harmon had put the Guild at 2.4 million members in June 2026, according to Deadline. The move to 3 million adds about 600,000 members in under three months.
The Guild is the company's paid membership programme. Members pay a subscription and get a vote on which projects Angel backs and makes.
Angel is based in Provo, Utah, Deadline reported. It completed its IPO, the first sale of its shares to the public, in September 2025. Shares traded at about US$5.50 in September 2026 after rising more than 20% over the prior week, the studio said.
The group's best-known release remains Sound of Freedom. It took more than US$250 million worldwide, the studio reported. That figure covers ticket sales in all markets combined.
Its more recent cinema release, Young Washington, took US$47 million, the studio reported. The company has since spawned a sequel to that film.
What makes this stand out is the calendar behind it. Angel is lining up a run of theatrical releases, meaning films made to play first in cinemas. They include Angel and the Badman, Drummer Boy, Hershey and Zero A.D., according to Deadline.
An action thriller called Runner is also on the slate. It stars Owen Wilson and Alan Ritchson, Deadline reported.
For fans, this means more votes ahead. Angel plans new seasons of The Wingfeather Saga, Homestead and Testament, the studio said. The Guild model lives or dies on that loop: members pay in, vote, then turn up to watch.
