Emmys Night Ends With Five Official Parties Across Los Angeles

The 78th Emmy Awards ended with music, hugs and a dash across Los Angeles to five official after-parties.
The final ceremony took place on 14 September. Parties that night were hosted by the Governors Awards, HBO, Disney, Apple TV and Netflix, according to Deadline.
The awards were spread over three nights on 5, 6 and 14 September. The 14 September telecast aired on NBC and was hosted by Emmy winner Mariska Hargitay, the Television Academy said. That night was held at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, according to ABC News. The replay is streaming on Peacock.
The Governors Gala is the Academy's official post-show party. It drew a mix of winners, nominees and studio chiefs.
Deadline's gallery from the Gala identifies Rhea Seehorn together with Vince Gilligan. It also identifies Noah Wyle together with Sara Wyle. Another photo identifies Wyle with Channing Dungey and Clancy Collins White. Dungey is identified as Chairwoman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Studio.
Disney hosted its own celebration. The Walt Disney Company's Emmy Awards Celebration and 78th Emmy Awards Party arrivals brought out stars from its broadcast and streaming shows.
Deadline's gallery identifies Sheryl Lee Ralph together with Vincent Hughes at the Disney celebration. It identifies Lisa Ann Walter together with Elaine Hendrix on the arrivals carpet. It also identifies Matty Matheson together with Ricky Staffieri at the arrivals.
The HBO Max Primetime Emmy Awards After Party closed the night for that group. The guest list mixed performers, creators and executives.
Deadline's gallery identifies Megan Stalter together with Maddie Allen at the HBO Max party. It identifies Casey Bloys together with Rachel Sennott. It also identifies Lisa Kudrow together with Michael Patrick King, Tuc Watkins together with Andrew Rannells, and Tracy Letts together with Carrie Coon.
What makes this stand out for fans is how much of the night is now visible in one place. Deadline maintains a photo gallery of Emmys parties and events before and after the show. The Television Academy also publishes photos from the awards, backstage and the Governors Gala. The Hollywood Reporter published a complete guide to 2026 Emmy parties and events on 7 September.
The Academy issued a press release on 9 September about its plans for the 78th Emmy Awards celebration. Its calendar listed both the 14 September telecast and Governors Gala and the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards and Governors Gala. Those are the craft, guest and behind-the-camera categories handed out ahead of the main telecast.
