Neowiz has filed a European trademark for 'Wonders of O', a name that points toward a Wizard of Oz follow-up to Lies of P.

The listing appears on the European Union Intellectual Property Office website, the body that registers trademarks across the EU, and is categorised under video game software, according to Video Games Chronicle. The filing was spotted by players and reported by FRVR. Trademark listings often surface before publishers discuss a project in public, and a filing alone protects a name rather than confirming a release.

Lies of P was released in 2023. It is a soulslike, a term used for tough third-person action games built around stamina-based combat and limited checkpoints, inspired by the 1883 novel Adventures of Pinocchio. Neowiz, the game's publisher according to PC Gamer, sets the story in Krat, a dark city styled on the Belle Époque, the European cultural period before the First World War. The game has sold over 4 million units worldwide, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

The clues point to Oz. The ending of Lies of P has Paracelsus saying he plans to return to Krat to find 'Dorothy', described as "another key". The final shot shows a figure on a rooftop in Krat clicking their heels three times, in the manner associated with Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. The 'O' in the new filing fits that thread, though Neowiz has not explained the title.

VGC previously reported that a sequel is in development, in its hands-on report for the Lies of P: Overture downloadable content, extra story material released after the base game. Neowiz has not announced platforms, a release date or story details for any follow-up. For now the public record is the trademark entry and the ending tease left in the first game.

For fans, this means the pattern is easy to read. The first game reworked Pinocchio as gothic action in a ruined city. A second game built around Dorothy would continue that approach of taking a public-domain tale and rebuilding it as dark fantasy.
