Wonders of O trademark points to possible Lies of P follow-up

The follow-up to Lies of P may already have a name: Wonders of O.
South Korean publisher Neowiz has applied to register "Wonders of O" with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the EU body that handles trademarks. The entry carries filing number 019420678 and a filing date of 10 September 2026, with its status listed as application under examination EUIPO.
The applicant is listed as NEOWIZ, a legal entity from Korea, Republic of, in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. The full address given is NEOWIZ PANGYO TOWER, 14, Daewangpangyo-ro 645 beon-gil, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do 13487. The filing basis is EUTM, a European Union trade mark, with type listed as Word and nature as Individual.
The paperwork points to games. It spans Nice classes 9 and 41, the international system used to sort goods and services. In plain terms, that covers interactive multimedia software for playing games and downloadable computer game software, plus services including providing on-line computer games and electronic games services provided by means of the internet.
The application reference is D465245EM. The filing language is English, with German as second language. The listed representative is PAGE WHITE FARRER (GERMANY) LLP of München, Germany.
Eurogamer reported the filing as the possible sequel or next game following Lies of P Eurogamer. That link is not confirmed. A trademark filing alone does not announce a game.
The context is easy to see. Lies of P launched in 2023. It is a Soulslike, a tough, methodical action game in the style of Dark Souls, based on the story of Geppetto and Pinocchio. Neowiz describes it as an action Souls-like set in Krat, a dark city inspired by the Belle Époque, the cultural era in France before World War I.
The developers said shortly after release that a Lies of P sequel was in development. The original game also ended with a nudge in a new direction. Its post-credits scene appeared to feature Dorothy, the heroine of the Oz books.
Neowiz has kept the first game in circulation meanwhile. It launched Lies of P: Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, which bundles the base Lies of P game with the DLC Lies of P: Overture.
For fans, this means a paper trail to watch. If "O" stands for Oz, it would fit the Dorothy tease. For now, it is only a filing.
