Ubisoft is giving away For Honor on PC. Claim it through Ubisoft Connect before 28 September at 2 PM BST and it is yours to keep, with access retained after the promotion ends, according to Video Games Chronicle.

That is the full base game. No subscription needed. No trial timer.

For Honor is a third-person multiplayer melee action game where players fight as warriors drawn from history. Knights, Vikings, samurai and others meet in close-quarters duels and team battles. Ubisoft Connect is Ubisoft's PC storefront and launcher, where players manage their library and downloads.

Ubisoft lists the deal as “free to claim” on its official website and includes For Honor in the Free Games section of the Ubisoft Store. Players need an Ubisoft Connect account. Add the game during the window and it stays in the library.

The giveaway lands just after a new season. Year 10 Season 3, titled Blood Hunt, launched on 10 September, according to Ubisoft. It was previewed in a Warrior’s Den livestream on 9 September.

Blood Hunt adds new hero skins, cosmetic outfits that change a character’s look, and Ranked Season 0. Ranked Dominion, the competitive version of the game’s team objective mode, went live on 10 September. So did the Keeper of Chains hero skin for Conqueror.

The season also brings a Battle Pass with 100 tiers of rewards spread across all 39 heroes. A Battle Pass is a seasonal track that unlocks cosmetic items as you play. The current patch, 2.70.1, is a 2.68GB download on PlayStation and 3.28GB on Xbox and PC.

More is scheduled. Title Update 2 arrives on 22 October with additional hero skins and a time-limited game mode.

For fans, this means a low-risk entry point. New players can learn the timing-heavy combat alongside a live season, while returning players get fresh rewards to chase.
