Disney+ and Hulu unveil first full trailer for The Remarried Empress

Disney and Hulu have released the first full trailer for The Remarried Empress, a 10-episode Korean series that will begin streaming on 4 November.
The footage is the longest look yet at the palace drama. It puts Empress Navier at the centre of the story. Power shifts around her. That is the hook.
The series is an adaptation of the Naver Webtoon of the same name, a vertically serialised digital comic built to be read on a phone. The original has accumulated nearly 3 billion views worldwide, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hulu bills the show as a high fantasy romance epic. It describes Navier as the flawless Empress, a description laid out in its earlier teaser on Hulu. The English-language WEBTOON listing gives her full name as Navier Ellie Trovi and characterises her as intelligent, courageous and socially adept.
Shin Min-a stars as Navier. Ju Ji-hoon plays Emperor Sovieshu. Lee Se-young plays Rashta. Lee Jong-suk plays Crown Prince Heinrey.
Behind the camera, the series is directed by Cho Su-won. Scripts were written by Yeoh Geena and Hyun Choong-yeol. Production mixed European location filming with purpose-built palace sets.
The release plan is front-loaded. Four episodes arrive on Disney+ and Hulu on 4 November. Two new episodes will then drop each Wednesday through 25 November, completing the 10-episode run.
Before that, the show will get a festival launch. It will have its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in October. Three episodes, totalling 151 minutes, will screen in the festival's On Screen section, the strand reserved for series.
For fans, this means two ways to see it first. Busan audiences get the big-screen version. Everyone else gets four episodes on day one in November.
