Disney+ will release a special look at The Remarried Empress at 4 p.m. KST on Wednesday, with previously unseen footage and new cast interviews.

The featurette is built around the four leads. It includes behind-the-scenes interviews with Shin Min-a, Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk and Lee Se-young, alongside fresh clips from the series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Shin stars as Navier, empress of the fictional Eastern Kingdom. Ju plays her husband, Emperor Sovieshu, whose demand for divorce sets the story in motion.

Lee Jong-suk plays Crown Prince Heinrey, heir to the rival Western Kingdom. Lee Se-young plays a runaway slave newly arrived at court.

The series is an adaptation of the Naver webtoon of the same name, a serialised online comic. That webtoon has accumulated nearly 3 billion views worldwide.

The preview also hears from director Cho Su-won and screenwriter Yeoh Geena on sets, costumes and location scouting. The team scouted 16 real castles across France, Germany and the Czech Republic to build the show's two kingdoms.

Disney said the featurette is the first time it has released preview material on this scale for a Korean show. Interest is already high. The first full trailer drew more than 13 million views across YouTube and social media in its first 48 hours.

The Remarried Empress will debut with four episodes on Nov. 4 on Disney+ and Hulu, followed by two new episodes each Wednesday through Nov. 25. Before that, it will have its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in early October, with three episodes totalling 151 minutes in the On Screen section, which presents series.

For fans, this means the wait gets a little easier. Wednesday brings faces, costumes and castles. November brings the story itself.
