Metallica confirm 12-date North American stadium run for 2027
Metallica will play 12 stadium shows across North America in May and June 2027, starting on 8 May in Vancouver. The band confirmed the dates on 16 September, with stops planned through the West, South and Midwest. Pitchfork
The 2027 run is a continuation of the M72 Tour, which kicked off in 2022. It will follow the band's residency at Sphere in Las Vegas. That residency is titled Life Burns Faster and includes shows in 2026 and 2027.
The tour opens at BC Place in Vancouver on 8 May. It then moves south to Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on 13 May. The next stops are both in Texas, at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso on 18 May and the Alamodome in San Antonio on 22 May.
From Texas, the band heads to Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on 26 May. Three days later, on 29 May, the tour reaches Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. June begins at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, on 2 June.
The middle of June brings three stadium dates in six days. Metallica will play Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on 5 June, Highmark Stadium in Buffalo on 8 June and Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin, on 12 June. The run then moves to Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland on 15 June before closing at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City on 19 June.
