Iron Maiden Announce Surprise 2027 North American Tour Finale

Iron Maiden will return to North America in spring 2027 for 16 headline shows plus two festival appearances, closing the band's 50th anniversary trek. The run starts on 14 April in Tacoma, Washington, and is billed as the third and final leg of the anniversary tour, according to Rolling Stone.
The band confirmed the dates on 16 October 2026 in a post headlined "Iron Maiden make surprise return to North America in 2027". It described the dates as a final spring run continuing the Run For Your Lives tour, which carried the 2026 anniversary leg. The 2027 outing is promoted as the "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR 2027".
The return was not part of the original plan. Bassist Steve Harris said the band had intended to take a break from live shows in 2027 before deciding to extend the tour.
The headline run stretches from the Tacoma Dome on 14 April through 11 May in Belmont Park, New York. Stops announced by the band include Rogers Arena in Vancouver on 16 April, Portland on 18 April, Benchmark International Arena in Tampa on 1 May, iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach on 2 May and Atlanta on 5 May, according to Iron Maiden.
Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age will open the shows. The three-band bill is all-British. It is the first time since 1983 that Iron Maiden has toured with that line-up of UK acts.
Two festival dates follow the headline shows. The band will play Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, and Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland. The Maryland set on 16 May closes the 2027 North American schedule, according to TicketNews.
The 2027 dates follow a busy 2026. The North American section of the Run For Your Lives World Tour began on 29 August 2026 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, playing stadiums and large amphitheatres. The wider world tour also included stadium dates across Central and South America and an eighth trip to Australia and New Zealand for the 50th anniversary.
For fans, this means one more chance to catch the anniversary production close to home. The band said its Eddie's Dive Bars, the pop-up fan venues that travel with the tour, will return for the 2027 run.
Ticket presale details for fan club members were posted alongside the announcement. Live Nation also published the tour announcement through its newsroom.
