Chris Harrison returns with new dating series The Vow on Fox Nation
Chris Harrison is back in dating television with The Vow, premiering Nov. 11 on Fox Nation. It is his return to the genre after hosting The Bachelor from its launch in 2002 until his exit in 2021.
The series will run for six episodes, released one a week, with the finale due Dec. 9, according to Variety. Fox Nation is Fox's subscription streaming service, best known for news, documentaries and original lifestyle programming. A weekly rollout means viewers follow the romance as it narrows.
At the centre is Jace Cates, 30, introduced as this season's eligible bachelor. Ten women will join him, all described as seeking lasting commitment and marriage. The structure is simple. One man dates the group, the group gets smaller, and the run ends with a final choice.
Two familiar faces will drop in along the way. Sean Lowe and Catherine Lowe, who met on Harrison's former franchise and later married, are set to appear. Their presence links the new show to the old one without turning it into a reunion.
Harrison's long run on network television made him synonymous with rose ceremonies in the United States. The Vow keeps him in that world, but on streaming rather than broadcast. That shift matters for how people watch. No overnight ratings race. Just six weeks on an app.
Behind the camera, the production is organised through Lionsgate Alternative Television, with Nicholas Caprio and Tom Huffman credited as executive producers, the senior figures who oversee creative and business decisions. Louis Caris is also an executive producer, alongside Harrison's wife, Lauren Zima. Elan Gale is consulting producer, Lindsay Liles is casting director and Michael Shea is director.
Fox Nation first greenlit an untitled Harrison dating series focused on people seeking a "traditional marriage" in February, when reports put its launch in 2027, according to Deadline. That plan has moved forward. The newly announced title, cast and November start replace the earlier timing.
For viewers, this means a short, contained season. Six weeks. One bachelor. Ten contenders. And a host returning to a job he knows well, with a new group hoping the ending lasts.
