Penélope Cruz played to a live crowd, Javier Bardem dropped in to talk a new film, and Matthew McConaughey and Cillian Murphy passed through a hotel studio as The Hollywood Reporter wrapped its 14th year at the Toronto International Film Festival, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The trade publication hosted its signature festival content studio at 1 Hotel Toronto during TIFF 2026. The space was presented by Canada Goose. The main studio day took place on 13 September 2026.
Cruz led the lineup. She sat for a live recording of Awards Chatter, the outlet's interview podcast hosted by Scott Feinberg, at Casa Madera inside 1 Hotel Toronto. The taping played to a live audience, The Hollywood Reporter reported. Two premieres. One live interview. Cruz arrived in Toronto with La Bola Negra and Bunker.
