Nancy Robertson will play a guardian angel in Hallmark Channel's new film An Angel In My Stocking.

Robertson has been cast as Margaret, who watches over Amanda, the film's central character. The casting was reported on 17 September 2026 by Deadline.

She replaces Carol Kane in the role. Kane left the production because of a scheduling conflict, according to the same report.

Production has started in Vancouver, British Columbia. The film is made by Hallmark Media and is set to premiere during Countdown to Christmas, Hallmark Channel's annual programme of holiday films.

Robertson joins three cast members announced earlier. Fionna Gubelmann plays Amanda, Marco Grazzini plays Jack and Siobhan Williams plays Lucy.

Behind the camera, Ali Liebert directs from a script by Kathy Kloves. Risa Shapiro, Samantha Sprecher and Kloves are executive producers.

What makes this stand out for viewers is the timing. Christmas films anchor Hallmark's winter schedule. A late casting change now keeps the production on track for its holiday premiere.
