Elf Experience to open at Rockefeller Center on Nov. 14
Buddy the Elf is moving into Rockefeller Center for the holidays.
The Elf Experience, an immersive holiday adventure based on New Line Cinema's film Elf, will be staged at HERO at Rockefeller Center in New York City and opens to the public on Saturday, Nov. 14, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The attraction is presented by Warner Bros. Global Experiences and Fairview Portals. HERO is Rockefeller Center's venue devoted to immersive storytelling, meaning visitors walk through built sets rather than sit in seats. Tickets are now available online, with prices starting at $45 for adults and $35 for children, as listed in The Hollywood Reporter.
The visit follows Buddy's path through the film. Stops include the Candy Cane Forest and the Sea of Swirly Twirly Gumdrops. The journey continues to Santa's Toy Workshop and the North Pole. It then arrives in New York City and Gimbels, the department store familiar from the film.
The journey is organised as a sequence of themed rooms. Groups move through in order, stopping for photos and activities along the way. Each space mixes large-scale sets with hands-on moments. Visitors can explore immersive environments and take part in interactive activities.
Photo opportunities are built into the route, alongside special treats inspired by the film. There is no curtain and no seat number. Walk, pose, taste, shop.
