Lea Michele, Sam Richardson and Nat Faxon Join 'Elsbeth' Season 4
Lea Michele, Sam Richardson and Nat Faxon will guest star in Season 4 of CBS's Elsbeth. The new season premieres on Thursday, 8 October, as reported by Deadline.
Each actor leads a different case. Richardson plays Cody Baxter, a Coney Island native and up-and-coming competitive eater. Michele plays Darcy Miles, a Pilates trainer. Faxon plays Perry Macintyre, a member of the Nickerson Country Club whose hole-in-one leads to murder.
They join a fan favourite back for another run of weekly cases. Emmy winner Carrie Preston returns as Elsbeth Tascioni, an attorney who works with the NYPD to solve high-profile murders, according to CBS. The character first appeared on The Good Wife and The Good Fight. Wendell Pierce also stars as Captain C.W. Wagner.
The trio are not the only new faces this season. Nicole Scherzinger, Nicholas Braun, OG Anunoby and Jemima Kirke have also been announced for Season 4. The series is produced by CBS Studios.
Season 4 starts on 8 October 2026 at 9pm ET on CBS, in the 9/7c slot. That is one hour earlier than its old home. Elsbeth aired at 10/9c on Thursdays for most of its run, according to TV Insider. New episodes will air weekly on Thursdays through the series finale and will be available to stream on Paramount+, according to Paramount+.
For fans, this means three fresh worlds to explore. Competitive eating. A Pilates studio. Country club golf. Each setting brings a new group of suspects for Elsbeth to question before she can realise who did it.
