Blue Finch Boards Sales on The Dark Gets In Ahead of Beyond Fest Premiere
Blue Finch Films has boarded worldwide sales rights to The Dark Gets In ahead of its world premiere at Beyond Fest, Variety reported.
The deal puts the company in charge of selling the film to distributors around the world. That is the standard festival-marketplace job: one sales agent shops the title territory by territory for cinemas, television and streaming.
The film is a supernatural thriller written and directed by Sean Hogan, according to Variety. The story centres on a documentary crew investigating a young girl's disappearance. No further plot details have been disclosed.
The clock is short. The UK production runs 91 minutes and is listed as a 2026 title by Beyond Fest. Hogan is also listed by the festival as an attending guest.
Evrim Ersoy produced the film, Variety reported. Paul Goodwin, Nick Harwood, Jim Hinson, Mike Chapman and Fatima Hayward are credited as executive producers, a role that usually involves financing or high-level support rather than day-to-day production.
The world premiere is scheduled for 7:00 PM on 2 October 2026. Festival listings place the screening at the MUBI Theatre at Los Feliz 3.
That screening will be followed by a Q&A with Hogan, according to Beyond Fest and the American Cinematheque.
