Art Basel Paris taps Emily in Paris star for Oh La La! programme
Fans of Emily in Paris have a reason to visit Art Basel Paris this autumn.
The fair has asked French actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu to art-direct its Oh La La! programme. The appointment was flagged as the draw for fans of the television series in previews of the 2026 edition ARTnews.
Oh La La! is Art Basel Paris's signature rehang initiative, a mid-fair changeover in which participating galleries take down the works on their stands and hang different pieces. The idea is simple. A visitor who returns on another day can see something new.
The 2026 edition carries the theme 'Myths and Legends', according to the fair's press dossier Art Basel. It is scheduled for 23 and 24 October, the fair said Art Basel.
The news came as Art Basel published the exhibitor gallery line-up for its 2026 Paris show. The fair returns to the Grand Palais in Paris and brings together more than 200 galleries Art Basel.
