Sylvie Grateau is about to hang an art fair.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, who plays Sylvie Grateau in the Netflix series Emily in Paris, will art-direct Oh La La! at Art Basel Paris, The Art Newspaper reported on 22 September 2026. She will set the theme and select works for the fair's weekend rehang.

Oh La La! is a two-day rehang held across the public days on Friday and Saturday. A rehang, where galleries take down and swap works halfway through a fair, gives visitors a reason to come back for a second look. Leroy-Beaulieu has chosen Myths and Legends as her theme.

Two names already linked to this year's rehang are French painter Nina Childress and Russian-born sculptor Ossip Zadkine, according to Art Basel. Details of what they will show have not been published.

The fair itself returns for its fifth edition on 21-25 October at the Grand Palais in Paris. It is Art Basel's French edition, held each autumn in the glass-roofed exhibition hall on the Champs-Elysées.

The 2026 line-up brings together more than 200 galleries from over 40 countries. That includes 183 galleries in Galeries, the main sector for leading Modern, post-war and contemporary dealers. Alongside it are 16 solo projects in Emergence, which focuses on younger artists and galleries, and 12 historical presentations in Premise, which revisits art from the last century.

There are 32 first-time participants this year. Another 24 galleries will share 12 joint booths, a format where two dealers split one stand.

The Conversations talks programme will move into the Grand Palais auditorium for the first time. One session will bring together Laurent Le Bon, president of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and Christophe Leribault, head of the Louvre in Paris, to discuss the future of museums with journalist Claire Chazal.

For fans, this means a familiar television face in an unfamiliar role. Leroy-Beaulieu is known for playing a sharp-tongued marketing boss. In October, she will be choosing what goes on the walls.
