Taller Marmo swaps mannequins for models and adds knitwear and jewellery for Spring 2027

Taller Marmo will put live models in its Spring 2027 show for the first time and use it to launch two new product lines.
The label, designed by Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea, has titled the collection "Mediterranea". It is scheduled for 24 September 2026 in Milan, the designers told WWD.
The event is listed on the official schedule as a Presentation at Via Passione, 8, at 16:00, by invitation only. It forms part of Milano Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, which the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the body that runs Milan Fashion Week, lists from 22 to 28 September 2026, according to the Camera Moda calendar.
Until now the brand has shown on mannequins. This time about 50 people of different ages will wear the clothes. The setting is conceived as a private gathering at a waterfront villa.
The clothes stay close to the sea. Seashell, starfish and coral motifs are worked ton-sur-ton, meaning tone on tone, on fluid silhouettes in jacquard, a weave where the pattern is woven into the cloth, and fil coupé silk, a silk trimmed to leave a cut-out pattern.
No blue. The colour palette skips the expected Mediterranean blue in favour of earthy tones. Date brown, terra-cotta and tangerine sit beside shimmering golden sequins.
Knitwear and jewellery are new for the house. The knitwear includes see-through caftans, loose full-length cover-ups, intended to be worn over beachwear. The jewellery gives a stylised, sculptural take on underwater shapes.
The afternoon will close with a cocktail and a DJ set by Giuseppe Savoni, better known as Disco Bambino. The official calendar lists the event under the title 'Taller Marmo Club celebrates Spring 2027 with a DJ Set by Disco Bambino'.
The brand states that its collections are made exclusively in Italy.
What stands out here is the shift in format. Mannequins keep the focus on cloth and cut. Models change the pace, the fit and how guests read age and use.
