Princess Gabriella of Monaco wore a pale pink chiffon dress and £28 beaded sandals for the U Cavagnëtu picnic in Monaco.

The 11-year-old attended with her twin brother Prince Jacques and parents Princess Charlene and Prince Albert. The family outing was reported on 22 September 2026. Hello! Magazine

Gabriella wore her long light brown hair loose and straight. Her dress was made from chiffon, a thin, floaty fabric often chosen for warm weather. The colour was soft pink, cut in a simple summer shape.

She finished the look with flat beaded sandals. The sandals are from Mango, a high-street retailer. They retail at £28.00.

Her mother chose designer pieces. Princess Charlene wore a short mini dress by Erdem, a designer label known for floral prints and feminine cuts. She carried a white Dior Mini Lady bag and wore heels by Gianvito Rossi, an Italian shoemaker favoured for classic evening shoes.

Together the two created a coordinated mother-daughter moment in light, summery dresses. That pairing was noted in photographs from the day. Hola!

The men matched too. Prince Albert and Prince Jacques both wore beige trousers with blue blazers. The two outfits were almost identical, blazer and light trousers for a daytime outdoor event.

U Cavagnëtu is organised by Monaco's town hall. The tradition dates back to 1931. Its name refers to the cavagnetu, the basket traditionally carried for a countryside picnic.

What makes this stand out is the mix of high and low. Charlene carried Dior and wore designer heels. Gabriella wore chiffon with high-street sandals. The contrast was right there in the same family photo.

For fans, this means one part of the look is easy to copy. Beaded flat sandals are a summer staple. Pink chiffon dresses are widely available. Loose, straight hair needs no appointment.

That accessibility gets attention. Royal dressing often involves custom work and closed archives. Here the receipt was public. The price was £28.00.

And the setting helped. A town-hall picnic is relaxed by design. Blankets replace red carpets. A basket replaces a clutch. A £28 sandal fits right in.
