Garth Brooks and TuneIn end Sevens Radio Network after three years

Garth Brooks and TuneIn have ended their three-year Sevens Radio Network partnership.
Two of the network's three free, live country stations, The Garth Channel and Tailgate Radio, sign off on 22 September. The third, The BIG 615, will keep broadcasting on TuneIn through the end of 2026, but without Brooks or the Sevens name attached, according to Billboard.
The venture began in 2023 with the launch of The BIG 615 as its flagship station. The idea was a network of seven stations organised and curated by Brooks for country listeners around the world. Only three launched. Tailgate Radio followed in August 2023 as the second station, and The Garth Channel was revived under the new network after an earlier run on SiriusXM, the US satellite radio service.
The launch team for The BIG 615 was led on air by Storme Warren. Monta Vaden served as music director, with Maurice Miner handling industry relations and Bob Richards as program director.
The split follows a change of ownership at TuneIn. Stingray Group, the Montreal-based music and media company, closed its acquisition of TuneIn in December 2025. Stingray put the transaction enterprise value at up to US$175 million, with US$150 million paid at closing and up to US$25 million more payable under the deal terms, according to Stingray.
Brooks said in a statement that the Stingray family had been fantastic in the transition and that he wished TuneIn well in future endeavours. A release said new broadcast and multimedia initiatives from Brooks will be announced in the coming months.
For listeners, this means a short adjustment. Two familiar presets disappear this week, while The BIG 615 stays on the dial for three more months in a new form.
Brooks has other dates already confirmed. He was announced as a headliner for the 2027 Stagecoach country music festival alongside Riley Green and Zach Top. He will also release his 1998 album Double Live on vinyl for the first time on 6 November.
