IPG Adds Five Publishers as Columbia Links With Uniandes

Five publishers are shifting their sales and distribution to IPG this autumn.
The Pentecostal Resources Group, Goose Lane Editions, D6 Family Ministries, Storyteller's Forge and Doran Press will all be sold and distributed by IPG starting this fall, Publishers Marketplace reported on 22 September 2026. That list covers five very different publishing programmes joining one distributor at the same time.
Selling and distributing, in book trade terms, means pitching titles to bookshops and retailers and then handling storage, orders and shipping. For a small or mid-sized press, it is the route that gets a finished book from the warehouse to the shop shelf.
A separate agreement links two university presses across the Americas. Columbia University Press and Ediciones Uniandes have formed a reciprocal distribution partnership, with each house carrying selected titles from the other.
Under the arrangement, Ediciones Uniandes will distribute select Columbia University Press books in Latin America. Columbia, in turn, will distribute select Spanish-language titles from Ediciones Uniandes in North America, Europe and Asia.
Ediciones Uniandes is the book publishing division of the University of the Andes in Bogotá, according to Columbia University Press. The Bogotá house has spent more than four decades publishing and disseminating research, Columbia University Press notes.
The autumn additions follow further expansion earlier in the year. In May, IPG added five comics and graphic novel publishers to its sales and distribution programmes: Antarctic Press, A Wave New World, Comisburgh, Comicker Press and Cosmic Lion, according to IPG.
For readers, this means availability. Distribution deals rarely change what a book says. They decide where it can be ordered, how quickly a shop can get it, and which countries see it on sale.
