Dancing with the Stars puts all 14 couples on one stage for Viral Hits Night

All 14 remaining couples shared the same live show for the first time on Tuesday, 22 September.
The occasion was Viral Hits Night. Each couple danced to a song that had circulated on social media, according to Deadline.
That first full line-up followed a split start. ABC divided the Season 35 premiere across two nights, one for women and one for men, with two eliminations. Sixteen celebrities began the season. Fourteen went into Week 2.
Scoring started tight. Harry Shum Jr. and Maura Higgins tied for the top scores across both premiere nights, with no judge awarding more than a 7.
Jenna Dewan and partner Val Chmerkovskiy opened part of the Week 2 account with a jive to “Animal” by KATSEYE. The judges gave them 21 out of 30.
Ciara Miller and partner Brandon Armstrong danced a tango to “No Broke Boys” by Disco Lines and Tinashe. They scored 18 out of 30.
Two couples finished on 16 out of 30. Tyler Cameron and partner Sharna Burgess danced a salsa to “Girls” by The Kid LAROI. Julia Stiles and partner Ezra Sosa danced a tango to “The Door” by Teddy Swims.
Jackson Olson, of the Savannah Bananas exhibition baseball team, and partner Emma Slater performed a foxtrot to “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams. Tatyana Ali and partner Jan Ravnik were also in the Week 2 line-up.
What makes this week different is the timetable. The early split meant viewers had not yet seen every couple judged side by side in one broadcast. Week 2 changed that.
For fans, this means the series is now on its regular pattern. The show airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c and streams on Disney+, according to ABC. It is hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, with Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli among the judges.
ABC listed the 22 September broadcast as episode 3503, running from 8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT, in a press release issued 18 September, per the Disney press site. The season had begun with Premiere: Night One on 16 September with 16 new celebrities, followed by Premiere: Night Two on 17 September for the female celebrities’ competition debut.
One couple was set to be eliminated on Viral Hits Night, according to a preview published 22 September by the Democrat and Chronicle.
