Meghan Markle posts 'you are loved' tribute as Prince Harry heads to New York

Meghan Markle has sent a public message to her husband Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex as he travelled solo to New York.
In an Instagram Story shared on 23 September, Markle wrote "you are loved" and "you are brave" alongside a compilation video of Prince Harry at the WellChild Awards earlier that week, according to Hello. She did not join him at that event.
The video shows the 41-year-old speaking to winners and giving his speech on stage. Markle set the clip to Sam Garrett's song "I Believe," which includes the lyrics "You are loved, yeah, and you are brave."
Prince Harry attended the 2026 WellChild Awards at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on the night of Monday, 21 September. WellChild, the charity behind the awards, celebrates seriously ill children across the UK and the professionals who care for them. This year's ceremony was held in association with GSK, the charity said in its report on the night.
He has been patron of WellChild for 18 years. The role is a public one, involving an annual appearance to present awards and meet families.
While Prince Harry was at the London ceremony, Markle was spotted at a Cotswolds pub with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.
From London he flew to New York for the Clinton Global Initiative 2026 Annual Meeting. The meeting, an annual gathering where leaders make commitments to act on global issues, ran on 22-23 September in New York City, according to the Clinton Foundation. It was convened by Chelsea Clinton and hosted by Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, and Prince Harry had been announced as a participant.
The back-to-back trips follow the couple's recent move back to Britain with their children about a month ago.
What makes this stand out for fans is the timing. London on Monday night, New York by Tuesday. Markle's Story bridged the two with a short note, in her own words.
