A24 has released a new trailer for 'You Can See Everything', its documentary on Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, Variety reported on 23 September 2026.

The film is made by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. It runs 174 minutes, which is two hours and 54 minutes. That length gives it room to follow one person across a long stretch of time.

It follows Holmes through her final days of freedom and her first few weeks in prison. The official logline puts it this way: 34 days before she is sent to prison, Holmes invites a sceptical film crew to document her every move. What starts as that invitation becomes a three-year journey.

The approach is built on direct access. Fielder and Oppenheim interviewed Holmes for the film, the New York Times reported on 9 September. A24 describes Holmes as a notorious Silicon Valley founder on its film page for the title. The company is also credited as the producer of the documentary.

The film premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, where a festival premiere means its first public screening in front of an audience and press. Telluride is a closely watched launchpad, because buyers, programmers and press attend to see new work. For a documentary, that first screening sets the conversation before release.

A cinema release is now dated. The film is set to open on 16 October, according to Variety. A24 lists 'You Can See Everything' as Coming Soon on its films page with a date of 16 October 2026. Coming Soon is the label A24 uses for titles it has announced but has not yet put on sale.

An earlier look had already arrived online. A24 posted “You Can See Everything | Official Teaser HD | A24” to its official YouTube channel, with YouTube dating the upload to 6 September. A teaser is a short early preview, shorter than a full trailer. Its description tells viewers plainly: “YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING – In theaters this October”.

What makes this stand out is the timing in Holmes’s story. The film starts with the countdown to prison and continues inside the early weeks of the sentence. The wait is short. October is next.
