Paula Patton, Derek Luke Reunite for Lifetime's Love on the Vineyard

Paula Patton and Derek Luke are teaming up again for Love on the Vineyard, a new original movie from Lifetime.
The film will premiere on Saturday, 21 November at 8/7c, meaning 8pm Eastern and 7pm Central. It will air as part of Lifetime's Love of a Lifetime franchise, the network's banner for romance movies grouped under one name, according to Deadline. That Saturday-night slot is prime real estate for the channel.
Patton stars as Jordan Wilson. Luke stars as Eric Robinson. Janet Hubert co-stars as Shirley Evans. The three lead the cast for the television movie, which is made to debut on the channel rather than in cinemas.
The story is set on Martha's Vineyard, the island off Massachusetts, and features the town of Oak Bluffs. Lifetime has not released further plot details. The location is doing a lot of work here, giving the film a specific, recognisable home.
The reunion is the hook. Patton and Luke previously co-starred in Baggage Claim, the 2013 romantic comedy. Thirteen years on, they are paired again for this project.
Tracey E. Edmonds serves as an executive producer, the senior role that oversees the film creatively and financially, according to Deadline. No other producers, writers or directors have been announced yet.
For fans, this means a familiar pairing in a new place. Viewers will not have to wait long. The countdown to 21 November is on, and the Vineyard is ready for its close-up.
