KATSEYE's Lara Raj Shares Selfie With Camila Cabello
KATSEYE singer Lara Raj shared a selfie with Camila Cabello to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, Sept. 23, captioning it "My big sissy forever."
The photo shows Raj smiling in sunglasses while Cabello rests her head on Raj's shoulder. It was posted as a Story, the short-form image that disappears after 24 hours, and quickly picked up attention from both fanbases, according to Billboard.
The caption continues a musical thread between the two acts. Raj has said Cabello's "Never Be the Same" was a reference behind the writing and production of KATSEYE's song "Unloveu." That kind of reference means the older track was used as a guide for sound and feel during studio sessions.
It is not the first time KATSEYE have described Cabello in family terms. Member Sophia Laforteza called Cabello everyone's "older sister" in a 2025 interview with Complex. The new post puts a face to that connection.
"Never Be the Same" was released in 2017 as part of Cabello's debut solo album, Camila. The song peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, the US singles chart, in May 2018. It also topped Billboard's Pop Airplay chart, which measures plays on pop radio stations.
KATSEYE's "Unloveu" appears exclusively on the Target edition of the group's third EP, WILD. An EP, or extended play, is a release shorter than a full album. Retail-exclusive tracks are bonus songs available only through one shop chain.
WILD gave KATSEYE a career milestone of its own. The EP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the US albums chart, giving the group its first No. 1 on that chart.
For fans, this means the link is both personal and musical. A friendly photo, a shared song influence and a chart-topping EP now sit in the same story.
