Adria Arjona is the 2026 WIF Max Mara Face of the Future.

She will become the 21st recipient of the annual award. The prize will be presented at the 2026 WIF Honors on 5 November, WWD reported.

She will step out in the role this week. Arjona will attend the spring 2027 show of Max Mara, the Italian fashion house, in Milan on Thursday. A spring show presents clothes intended for sale in the following season.

The award is given by Women in Film, the organisation which advocates for and advances the careers of women and gender diverse people working in the screen industries to achieve parity and transform culture, alongside Max Mara. It is presented each year. Last year's recipient was actor Maude Apatow. With Arjona, the roll of recipients reaches 21 names.

Television viewers will know Arjona as Bix Caleen. She played the part in "Andor", the Star Wars prequel series shown on Disney+, the streaming service. A prequel is a story set before an earlier work. In this case, it follows events before those of the original Star Wars films.

Her recent film work includes "Onslaught". She starred in the thriller directed by Adam Wingard and produced by A24, the independent entertainment company. A thriller is a film built around suspense and danger. The credit added a lead action role to a career built largely in drama and science fiction.

Next, she is set to play the lead opposite Michael B. Jordan in "The Thomas Crown Affair", the upcoming film from Amazon MGM, the Hollywood studio, WWD reported. Jordan is also a producer on the project. The casting puts Arjona at the centre of a major studio release.

For fans, this means the fashion honour lands in the middle of a busy screen run. A front row in Milan. An awards night in November. And two high-profile film credits on either side.
