Alicia Carmody Teams With Ferrero for Adult Halloween
Alicia Carmody is making Halloween an adults' night in.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast member has partnered with Ferrero to celebrate Adultoween, a grown-up take on the holiday built around hosting and gifting. She discussed the tie-up in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Ferrero is the food company behind Nutella, Kinder and Tic Tac. Its Halloween collection includes Kinder Joy x Stranger Things Eggs, Kinder Bueno Halloween Lay Down Bags and Butterfinger Skulls. The range also features Keebler Spookie Fudge Stripes, Mother's Eerie Critters and Kinder Joy Glow in the Dark Halloween Eggs.
The pitch is simple. Good chocolate is not only for the trick-or-treat bowl. Adultoween is aimed at adults who buy, share and serve the sweets themselves.
Carmody spoke while filming Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. The series is part of Bravo's long-running Real Housewives franchise, which follows groups of women city by city. Rhode Island is its newest entry.
Bravo said in May that the Rhode Island series was pacing as the network's second-biggest show across platforms, behind only The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. That measure covers viewing across broadcast, streaming and catch-up. It gives the new cast a large audience to play to in Season 2.
On Season 1, Carmody discussed her 10-year engagement to Billy Kitsilis. The couple are involved in Pizza Mamma, the Rhode Island pizza business run by Kitsilis. She has described pushing her way into the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
Viewers have already had a look inside her world. She showed off her Rhode Island home and pizza oven in the After Show, according to Bravo. She also answered fan questions about her doll collection and a car incident, Bravo reported.

She is scheduled to appear at Bravo Fan Fest Charleston in October. It will be her first fan event as a Housewife. The festival is Bravo's fan convention, where viewers meet cast members face to face.
