Thom Browne, the New York fashion house built on the shrunken grey suit, and Bose, the US audio maker, have unveiled headphones that look like tailoring and work like tech.

The model is the Thom Browne for Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones. It was first teased in February, then walked the runway at Thom Browne's Fall 2026 show in San Francisco, staged during the Super Bowl, according to an exclusive report from WWD.

That runway debut explains the design. The finish is inspired by Browne's signature grey suiting wool. The adjustable headband is wrapped with cashmere details. Each pair comes with a cashmere carry case.

Look closer and the branding is quiet. Thom Browne's four-bar red-white-and-blue stripe sits on the interior of the earcups, hidden while worn. The earcups are shaped to rest flat around the neck when the headphones are off.

Under the fabric, it is still a Bose set. The collaboration pair includes noise cancellation, which blocks outside sound, and immersive audio, which places sound in space around the listener for a wider effect.

The price is USD 950. The headphones will be sold on bose.com and thombrowne.com from Monday, WWD reported.

What makes this stand out is how little either partner has bent. Browne has not made a costume headphone. Bose has not made a plain grey box. For fans, this means a fashion name on the outside and a familiar audio specification on the inside, in one limited release.
