CSB brings Solar collection to SoHo with three-day pop-up

New York shoppers will get first access to CSB's Solar collection at a three-day SoHo pop-up opening Friday.
The Australian activewear brand, founded by Rachel Dillon in 2019 and formerly called Crop Shop Boutique, will take over 131 Greene Street from September 25 to 27. Doors run 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, according to WWD.
The site is Shopify's SoHo storefront, a ready-fitted retail unit the Canadian e-commerce company leases to brands for short runs. CSB will use it to present Solar through product, campaign imagery and community events. The idea is simple. Mix and match.
The collection's colour palette pairs Solar yellow with neutral tones. Pieces are designed to be worn together in different combinations. Shoppers can buy the new range alongside a curated edit of CSB core styles, the leggings, sports bras and staples that make up its regular line.
There will also be exclusive gifting and a CSB-branded ice cream truck parked outside. For fans, this means more than rails of clothes. It is set up as a drop-in hangout as well as a shop.
New York is the third stop in CSB's recent run of United States activations, after Los Angeles and Miami. The company said the U.S. has become one of its largest global markets over the past 12 months. Global sales grew 76 percent year over year, while U.S. revenue rose 118 percent over the past year, the company said, as reported by WWD.
The Miami event drew more than 20,000 visitors. More than 70 percent of those customers bought from the brand for the first time, CSB said.
New York now gets Solar first. Expect yellow.
