PatBo brings Brazilian modernism to Brooklyn for Spring 2027

PatBo, the Brazilian label designed by founder and creative director Patricia Bonaldi, presented its Spring 2027 collection outdoors at Domino Square in Brooklyn.
The show arrived at a business milestone. The brand has been in business for 20 years, including a decade operating in the US. That history was reported alongside the new season by WWD.
The collection took its lead from Brazilian modernism and landscape design. Spring collections are the ranges made for the warmer months and shown well in advance. Here the starting point fed directly into shape and surface.
Bonaldi said PatBo was more experimental for spring. She said the team changed some shapes to include organic shapes and more architectural shapes. The creative director is the person who leads design decisions across a label.
Clothes featured intricate embroidery, transparency, dimensional detailing and draping. Transparency means sheer fabrics that reveal skin or layers beneath. Dimensional detailing covers raised textures and finishes that stand out from the cloth.
The spring range is manufactured in Brazil. The production base keeps making close to the brand’s design roots. The mix paired handwork with open fabrics and sculpted structure.
Distribution in the US now runs through department stores Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s and Bergdorf Goodman and online retailer Revolve. That is wholesale, selling to shops that resell, as against direct-to-consumer selling through a brand’s own channels. The wholesale base sits beside the label’s own site.
PatBo operates its official online store at patbo.com. The site offers runway collection items on a pre-order programme, where shoppers reserve items before they are produced. Prices are listed by the retailer and include the Pearl Garden Top (Runway) for pre-order at €375.95, the Copacabana Fringe Dress (Runway) at €1,370.95 and the Bloom Garden Embroidery Dress (Runway) at €3,316.95, according to PatBo.
The brand is widening what it sells. It introduced footwear to its lineup for Fall 2026. It then unveiled an eyewear collection for the coming spring season.
Earlier steps help explain the current footprint. PatBO was listed among new talent on the February 2022 New York Fashion Week schedule, according to Vogue. The brand later opened a new Miami store. It also worked with Vtex, the e-commerce technology company, to enable pre-orders.
What makes this stand out is the use of an open city square. The outdoor show was organised in daylight rather than a closed room. Sheer layers, embroidery and drape read differently outside.
