Dove Cameron and Damiano David marry in Tuscany, Italy

Dove Cameron and Damiano David are married. They wed on Thursday, Sept. 24 in Italy after three years together, Billboard reported. The ceremony followed months of public anticipation about when the pair would make it official.
The wedding took place at the Palazzo dei Priori in Montalcino, a hill town in Tuscany. The building serves as the town's historic seat of local government. The couple chose Italy, David's home country, for the occasion.
They kept the details quiet until the day. In a pre-wedding interview with Vogue, published on Sept. 18, they confirmed only that the wedding would happen in September. They declined to name the venue or town at that stage, Vogue reported.
The couple announced their engagement on Instagram about eight months before the wedding. That post ended weeks of rumour among fans. It also set the clock running for a September ceremony.
Their story began at an awards show. Cameron and David first met at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, known as the VMAs, where both were nominated for best new artist. That category honours breakthrough acts. They have been photographed together regularly since 2023.
Music has travelled with the relationship. Cameron released the single "When in Rome" as an ode to her romance with David in Italy. David released the solo album Funny Little Fears in 2025. Both projects arrived while the couple were living much of their lives in the public eye.
Shortly before the wedding, the pair appeared together in Vogue Italia. The feature included portraits and a joint interview about their life between the United States and Italy. It was their most detailed public conversation before the ceremony.
For fans, this means a long-teased moment is now confirmed. No further details about guests, music or the ceremony itself have been released. The couple have not yet posted their own wedding photographs.
