The Dallas Cowboys meet the Baltimore Ravens at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, Sept. 27, in the designated 2026 NFL Rio Game. It is a Week 3 fixture, meaning a game from the third week of the regular season, and the league has organised it as part of its international expansion efforts, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The designation was first confirmed by the NFL.

The slot is simple. Kickoff is listed as 3:25 p.m. CT, which is 4:25 p.m. ET and 1:25 p.m. PT, according to DallasCowboys.com and The Hollywood Reporter. The NFL lists the local start in Rio as 5:25 p.m. Gates at Maracanã open for ticketholders at 1:25 p.m.

In the United States, the game airs on CBS. The Cowboys’ official guide also names CBS Sports and CBS 11 as the television option for the matchup. Viewers do not need a special channel. It sits in a regular Sunday afternoon window.

Live streaming follows the same path as a normal Sunday game. The game can be streamed live via DirecTV, Fubo and Hulu + Live TV, and it is available live with a Paramount+ subscription. That choice matters for cord-cutters, meaning households without a traditional pay-TV contract.

Two services offer a free trial period, meaning short-term access without payment before a paid plan begins. DirecTV offers a five-day free trial. Fubo offers a one-day free trial. Fubo is also listed as a streaming option for in-market viewers, meaning people watching inside the local broadcast area.

Preparations in Rio ran close to kickoff. Workers were still trimming the turf at Maracanã on Saturday, less than 30 hours before the game, according to the Associated Press. The NFL has since addressed concerns about field conditions ahead of the matchup, according to CBS Sports.

For fans, this means a familiar watch with an unfamiliar backdrop. No late-night start. No new platform to learn. Pick CBS on television or choose one of the live streaming services and follow a Week 3 game from Rio.
