Ricky Martin and Pedro Sampaio Debut 'Pikito, Pikito' at NFL Rio Halftime

Ricky Martin and Pedro Sampaio premiered a new collaboration, “Pikito, Pikito”, live during the half-time show of the 2026 NFL Rio Game on 27 September.
The pair headlined the interval performance at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The game featured the Baltimore Ravens against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Billboard.
Kick-off was listed for 5:25 p.m. BRT. The league had named Martin and Sampaio, a Brazilian DJ, as the half-time performers in August, according to the NFL.
The studio version followed quickly. It arrived on streaming services via Sony Music Latin at 6 p.m. ET after the performance.
Martin had signalled the plan six days earlier. In a 21 September post, he announced the world premiere of “Pikito Pikito” with Sampaio. The post also showed the single cover, a white car fitted with a sunshade.
The title needs little translation. “Pikito, Pikito” means “quick kiss” and comes from the Spanish word “piquito”. The track itself pulls from several styles, blending pop, funk, samba, reggaeton, mambo and salsa.
The credits list five writers. They are Yoel Henriquez, Eudis Ruiz, Samantha Maria Cámara, Luis Salazar and Sampaio. Production is credited to Federico Vindver, Salazar and Sampaio.
Two further names handle the vocal and final sound. Jean Rodriguez handled vocal recording and production, a role that covers capturing the singers’ takes and shaping them. Mosty mixed and mastered the track, the final stage where levels are balanced and the recording is prepared for release.
Choreographer Parris Goebel worked with Martin and Sampaio on the half-time staging for the premiere.
What makes this stand out is the timing. A live debut in a packed stadium was followed within hours by a commercial release. For fans, this means there was no wait between hearing the song premiere and finding it on streaming services.
