Rod Stewart has announced that 2027 will be his last rock'n'roll tour. The European run, titled The Final Encore, will travel across Ireland, the United Kingdom and continental Europe in spring and summer next year.

The singer confirmed the plan in an Instagram video posted on Sept. 28, according to Billboard. In the clip he said "next year will be my last tour ever, ever." He was clear on one point. "I'm not retiring, but this will be the last rock n' roll tour."

The tour is scheduled to start on April 23, 2027 at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. It is scheduled to finish on July 24 at ZAG Arena in Hannover, Germany.

Between those dates the itinerary lists Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London, followed by Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Copenhagen and Helsinki. It then continues to Rättvik in Sweden, Trondheim and Bergen in Norway, Budapest, Munich, Pula in Croatia, Prague and Kraków in Poland.

In a statement, Stewart said "The Final Encore will most definitely be my last" after more than six decades performing. That wording draws a line under full touring while leaving room for other kinds of appearances.

For fans, this means next summer is being presented as the final chance to see this particular kind of Stewart show on the road. Details on tickets, support acts and any additional dates were not included in the announcement.
