HardScope to Launch YouTube Slate Backed by $4M Investment

A DraftKings co-founder is spending nearly $4 million on new YouTube shows fronted by creators.
HardScope, founded by Matt Kalish, planned to launch its YouTube channel on 30 September with a slate of digital series, according to Variety. Kalish serves as chief executive. Lars Bengston is chief content officer.
The company is structured as a media company with an in-house studio built around creator-led IP, meaning shows and characters made with online stars that the business can own and reuse. Creators join as equity partners in that IP, meaning they hold a share in what they help build. The money is already committed. HardScope backed its first slate with nearly $4 million in production and development investment.
Kalish is co-founder of DraftKings, according to NetInfluencer. The same report lists him as chief executive of FaZe Clan following its relaunch under new management. HardScope said its studio team includes creative executives who helped push FaZe Clan to become a global force in online gaming culture.
The first batch of series was set to debut between September and November. ‘R3born With N3on’ follows streamer N3on through a fitness transformation. ‘Unpacked With Matcrackz’ is a collectibles show in which celebrity guests hunt for memorabilia.
‘Love & Justice With Zach Justice’ puts the host in the middle of relationship disputes. He hears both sides of an issue, then delivers a verdict. ‘Small World With Bloody Osiris’ is a global travel show following the New York fashion figure as he searches for outfits and locations for fit-pics, slang for full-outfit photos.
HardScope first launched in December 2025 as a vertically integrated organisation to scale creator businesses and connect brands with young audiences, according to PR Newswire. That announcement described original IP development, franchise building around creator talent, and a media-buying operation.
For viewers, this means one place to find them. All four shows were made for YouTube, free to watch, with new episodes rolling out across the autumn.
